As 2019 draws to a close, we reflect on our work from this past year. We have worked with many clients throughout the UK, from a variety of industries with differing requirements. Retail Security Shutter Installation
We began the year with a trip to South London to complete a Security Shutter installation for a local convenience store. With a bespoke, high-performance shutter, the retailer can now trade with improved safety, insulation and protection.
High Speed Doors for Engineering Firm
Guhring Limited in Birmingham contacted UK Rapid Doors for a High Speed Door Installation to reduce the productivity problems they were experiencing. After a site survey, we recommended a tailored solution to Guhring Limited.
Turbo Fold High Speed Door Installation
A trip to Derbyshire was required to install Turbo Fold High Speed Doors, for one of the UK’s leading masonry support and product manufacturers. They required fast action doors to improve traffic flow, minimise delays and provide temperature control in their warehouse.
Zip Speed Door Installation for Regional Hub
For Biffa Waste we installed Zip Speed Doors to replace their old manual fold system inside of a temporary fabric building. This was a very different setting compared to what we usually work in, but our team still executed the job to a very high standard.
High Speed Door Installation for Food Manufacturer
We travelled down to London to meet with D.S.I. Foods Ltd to install a fast action door system as requested. These High Speed Doors were complete with radar motion sensors to automatically open for those moving towards it. This is especially helpful in busy warehouse environments where productivity needs to keep moving.
Large Scale Roller Shutter Door Installation
For a customer’s processing building in Bristol, we installed two large scale Roller Shutter Doors with identical openings. This helped to meet the client’s requirements for a fast speed solution to improve work efficiency.
Rapid Door System Warehouse Installation
Later in the year, we completed an installation of Zip Speed Doors in Shrewsbury warehouse. This provided a fast and energy efficient solution for their high traffic setting. We also installed Fire Shutter Doors in Tunstall in co-operation with a project management company. These insulated shutters lower the risk of compartmental fire spread and provide a 96% radiant reduction.
Zip Speed Door Installation for Cosmetics Giant
In August, we worked with international cosmetics giant, Estee Lauder, in South England to install Zip Speed Doors. To minimise disruption to production, the installations were phased over a six-month period. As a result, their production centre can benefit from improved efficiency with a controlled air flow and high-speed doors.
Superstore Electric Roller Shutter Installation
The following month, our team installed Electric Roller Shutters for an ASDA superstore in Barking. Electric Roller Shutters are a great resource for security protection, fire safety and encouraging more efficient operations in a busy working environment.
Zip Door Installation for Supply Chain Specialists
Finally, in October, we visited Oakland International in Redditch for a Zip Door Installation. This will help them to improve their time efficiency and temperature control in the warehouse, leaving them with minimal distractions and less need for maintenance.
